6TH GRADE HOOPS!

The  APS 6th grade boys basketball program is up and running again this year. Season number 3 of this great initiative has 8 elementary schools participating every Saturday at Helen Arnold.  Participating this season  are: Mason CLC, Barber,Seiberling, Crouse, Robinson , David Hill, Helen Arnold and Schumacher CLC. Students have volunteer community coaches that also provide mentoring during the week. All players attend practice and mentoring during the week and must follow school rules and have positive grades. Students earn the right to play on Saturdays at Helen Arnold. Angela Harper along with Kyle Early have provided these students with a great opportunity to improve in school and also learn life lessons through this outstanding program. Parents also participate every Saturday as well from 10 am-1 pm. Free admission to see these youngsters in action!
