Breakfast:
Breakfast is served from 7:50-8:15. Please plan to have your student arrive during this time if they would like to eat breakfast at school. School begins promptly at 8:30.
Lunch Time:
10:55-11:25 KDG-2nd Grade
11:30-12:00 3rd and 6th Grade
12:05-12:35 4th and 5th Grade
Uniform/dress policy:
Students must abide by the Akron Public Schools dress code and uniform policy.
Dismissal:
Car Riders: Students that will be picked up in a car must turn right into the parking lot and turn right outside of the parking lot. Parents must have a name card in their front window indicating the first and last name of their student. Parents are not permitted to walk into the building to pick up a student that is considered a car rider. A staff member will greet you at the car and will notify the staff inside to send out your child to the car through Door 1. Parents are not permitted to leave their vehicle in the parking lot to pick up their child.
Bus/Van Riders: Students will be escorted by a staff member through Door 3 to their bus or van at 2:25 pm.
Walkers: Students who are walking home or meeting a family member in a parked car will be escorted to Door 2 for dismissal at 2:30 pm.
Students may not be signed out early after 2:00 pm. Any changes to a student’s dismissals plan must be done in writing and given to the classroom teacher. Changes to dismissal will NOT be taken over the phone.
